  We turned to Agriculture and starting a mini-mart project to fuel employment for our youth with special needs and generate income.   Lifelong Skills Training Inc was founded in 2018 and runs without charging fees to parents and students. We employ the parents with the requisite qualifications as teachers and anxillary staff. We also offer students a daily breakfast and hot lunch free of cost. How did we get this done without charging fees? We did not need to have our own building because we partnered with a church and utilized an existing church auditorium which only charges a modest rent. We took out personal loans in the first instance to cover our set-up costs and were able to access start-up funding from local organizations. Our breakfast programme is sponsored by a local bakery and a local food manufacturer The Salvation Army supplies hot tasty meals every day By our fourth year of existence we were able to take the success of our pilot project to government and access a subvention
